Formalities

from AUDITION by Jaron Carolina

/

about

The intro and main inspiration to the series.
First song written and recorded.
Explaining that this AUDITION is a formality only.

lyrics

More than a freshman not yet a veteran,
Oldest one on my team, yet I’m still contendin’,
Originality is peaking its time now that I stop pretendin’,
I got the talent in a box and I’m gonna deliver wherever you send me,
This aint no cover no sing along,
Moving into a new echelon,
I pulled out my heart and wrote these songs,
Then pulled out my phone tried to right some wrongs,
Check your inbox, check your email,
Relationships I had that derailed,
But the times are changing, I made changes, we debated,
I just hope one day we prevail,
(Am I worthwhile?)
Surprise on the faces of all that have doubted,
(Do I have a style?)
I whipped it good aint no doubt about it,
I came with heart of the beast that’s within,
I Came here to win,
Before I begin…..

My audition is a formality x2

Play these tracks you’ll see,
Beautiful tragedies,
the good and bad in me,
you may get mad at me….yeah..
